Growing & Maintenance:

Early spring cut out all dead wood and thin weak twigs. Once summer blooming is complete, prune to shape. Do not prune in fall. Apply balanced fertilizer for roses in spring and summer according to package directions. Fertilize only until the end of July. Check soil weekly for moisture. Avoid wetting leaves. Morning water preferred. In northern areas, after leaves have dropped, place rose cone over dormant rose bush. 3-4" mulch around base of plant before ground freezes. Additional winter protection may be required in colder climates; consult your garden center. Does not tolerate standing water.
