In spring, apply balanced fertilizer for acid loving plants according to package directions. Check soil weekly for moisture. Water thoroughly when dry. Provide adequate water until plant is dormant for the winter. Prune as needed late summer or early fall immediately after flowering is complete. Protect from winter winds and cold. 4-6" of mulch may be required to protect roots. Consult your garden center.
