Growing & Maintenance:
In spring, apply balanced fertilizer according to package directions. Check soil weekly for moisture. Water thoroughly when dry. Adequate water until ground freezes is necessary to sustain the plant during the winter. Prune in early summer if necessary to shape. Retain one main leader at the top. No winter protection is necessary.
