Growing & Maintenance:
In spring, apply balanced fertilizer for acid loving plants according to package directions. Check soil weekly for moisture. Water thoroughly when dry. Provide adequate water until plant is dormant for the winter. Prune to shape early spring before new growth emerges. Maintain 2-3" mulch during summer to protect roots. In northern climates, 4-6" of mulch is necessary to protect roots in winter.
