Growing & Maintenance:

In spring, apply balanced fertilizer according to package directions. Check soil weekly for moisture. Water sparingly, easily overwatered. Remove plant debris from last fall. Remove spent flowers and stalks after blooming. Sword-shaped leaves will wilt to ground. Some will die, the rest will become revitalized in the spring. Do not prune during winter as next year's flowers will be removed. Good for hot, dry locations. No winter protection is necessary.
