Growing & Maintenance:
In spring, apply balanced fertilizer according to package directions. Check soil weekly for moisture. Water thoroughly when dry. Adequate water until the ground freezes is necessary to sustain plant during winter. Can be shaped when dormant if desired. Apply mulch 2-3" deep around the plant to protect roots during winter. No additional winter protection other than fall mulching is needed.
